A curved maple spine connects ribs of maple holding LED strips. We collaborated with Fritz Muegenburg of Berkeley Mills to work through all the details.
The shape was designed to complement landscape photos typically on display behind it.
Strips of light provide even illumination for the long dining room table.
When seated at the table, the effect is like an illuminated canopy - intimate but bright. The lights are dimmable so it is easy to get the right amount of light at any time of day.
The shape is captivating from every angle and reflections off the windows heighten the effect.
The profile obscures very little of the garden view out the bay window.
